How to choose trousers
Leg. Wide-leg trousers balance a fitted knit or a tucked shirt; straight-leg trousers go under a long coat without bunching. A midi skirt does the same job as a wide trouser and pairs with the same tops.
Rise and length. A high rise works best with tucked-in shirts and cropped knits. Check the inseam or total length on the size chart against a pair you own, and remember the shoes you will wear them with.
Size. Waist and hip measurements matter more than the letter size; compare them on each product page.
